Pratt's veteran paper-maker Luis Henao has been named Mill Manager of the Year by a leading international industry magazine.

Luis was instrumental in the design, installation, start-up and day-to-day operations of our Shreveport lightweight mill, and fully deserved his award from Pulp and Paper International against worldwide competition.

He was presented with his award at a dinner in Brussels in November.

Luis, who has served Pratt loyally for more than 20 years, played an integral role in the successes of all three Pratt mills and the company's first Clean Energy plant in Conyers, Ga.

He also has the title of VP Pratt Energy Division. In his nomination, Luis was praised for his clear and infectious leadership, as well as a dedication to all whose careers he has touched. "As Mill Manager, Luis demonstrates attention to detail and diplomacy in a professional, yet passionate manner," said the entry. "He strives to be influential by leading through example."
